Crew apologizes, cites heavy fog, asks directions to Port of Tallinn
That used to be the joke the Estonians made about the Latvians, since Latvia couldnÂ’t seem to get a cruise ship to dock. But AS Tallink and the Riga Port Authority's Supervisory Council have agreed to launch a new Stockholm-Riga route. The agreement isnÂ’t in writing yet, so nothingÂ’s definite. We wonder if others see the irony: Tallink is an Estonian company. The Swedes come to Latvia and the Estonians make money. Go figure.
